On October 28, 2020, a gathering group composed of national key media outlets and influential microbloggers came to SUSTech to collect information. University Council Vice Chairperson Fengliang LI and director of the Office of Communications & Public Relations Ling ZHANG exchanged views with the group.

The group includes journalists, editors, and well-known self-media (WeMedia) members from various outlets, such as CCTV, Shenzhen Economic Daily, Shenzhen Evening News, Shenzhen Press Group audio-visual center, Tencent News, and The Paper. Through half-day visits, the journalists have a brief impression of the major scientific research platform, academic achievements, and talent training mode of SUSTech. The delegation expressed their appreciation for the rapid and high-quality development of the University in recent years.
