Zewei WANG
Research Assistant Professor

Dr. Zewei Wang received his Bachelor in City Underground Space Engineering at Central South University in 2012. In 2017, he obtained his Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering at Central South University. After that, he spent three years (2017-2020) in Sun Yat-sen University as a Post Doc in Geophysics, and joined in SUSTech in 2020. Dr. Wang’s research mainly focuses on theory and applications of seismic tomographic technique, including inverting t* or traveltime data from local and/or teleseismic events to obtain seismic attenuation, velocity and anisotropy structures in different scales. Dr. Wang has published more than 10 papers in various geophysical or geotechnical journals as the first author or a corresponding author.
