李炜怡,中国清华大学硕士(化学工程),美国辛辛那提大学博士(化学工程),在新加坡南洋理工大学南洋水处理研究所(NEWRI)的新加坡膜技术中心(SMTC)工作7年。主要研究方向为膜分离技术,并在研发以膜分离技术为基础的高效水处理技术方向积累了丰富的经验;具体研究课题包括应用实验(光学相干断层成像仪Optical Coherence Tomography,OCT等)和数值模型(基于网格的模拟Network-Based Modeling等)手段探索在膜分离过程中极为复杂的耦合传递现象,进而优化分离膜的性能(例如,抗膜污染的微孔结构等)、开发新型分离膜和膜分离应用。其研究成果已发表在Journal of Membrane Science、Water Research、Environmental Science & Technology、Applied Energy、Desalination、AIChE Journal等国际著名权威期刊上,并主持(共同主持)或参与了多项美国和新加坡的政府研究项目。
