GUO Zhilin
Assistant Professor

Basic Introduction:

Zhilin Guo graduated from the University of Arizona with a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Hydrology at the University of California, Davis. In August 2019, she joined SUSTech. She has been studying on the mechanism and remediation of groundwater pollution and the sustainability of groundwater resources under global change. She has been supported by national, provincial and municipal projects such as the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation. She is currently the Vice Chair of the UNESCO Groundwater Youth Network, a member of the Groundwater Committee of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) and the Groundwater Hydraulics and Management Technical Committee of the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR). She is also the associate editor of Groundwater, a top international journal in the field of groundwater.
