Biography
Liang Fengchao, Ph.D., graduated from Peking University School of Public Health, joined the Southern University of Science and Technology in 2020. Her research focuses on chronic disease epidemiology and environmental health, with applications of satellite remote sensing technology and artificial intelligence in public health, to study the health effects of environmental and other risk factors in China.
Dr. Liang has authored over 70 research papers in domestic and international journals. Her first- or co-first-author articles have been published in prestigious journals including BMJ, Circulation, and PNAS. She has also led the National Key Research and Development Program projects, National Natural Science Foundation projects, and served as a Co-PI on U.S.-China collaborative research funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH R01).
