Tao Xin
Associate Researcher

Xin Tao , who is currently an assistant researcher at the Institute of Quantum Science and Engineering of Southern University of Science and Technology. He graduated from the Department of Physics of Tsinghua University in advance in 2018, and received a Ph.D. From 2015 to 2016, he visited the Institute for Quantum Computing of the University of Waterloo in Canada as a visiting scholar. He has focused on spin quantum dynamics research for a long time. His main research directions are spin-based systems for quantum information processing, efficient quantum state measurement and reconstruction, the applications of hybrid quantum-classical algorithms in quantum problems, and development of benchtop nuclear magnetic resonance instruments for quantum computing and quantum education. Now he has published nearly 30 SCI papers in academic journals such as Physical Review Letters, npj Quantum Information, Physical Review A, Science Bulletin (including 13 first-author/co-authors/ corresponding authors). He is also invited as the referees of the professional journals such as PRL, PRA, Scientific Reports, SCPMA, IEEE, EPL, and Quantum Engineering, and he has applied for 2 related technology patents, and is hosting the grants from the Young Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Surface project of Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation.
