Fen Yang, Ph.D., research assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering of Southern University of Science and Technology. She obtained her Ph.D. from the South China Normal University in 2021 and conducted postdoctoral research in Southern University of Science and Technology from 2022 to 2024. Dr. Yang primarily engaged in the research and development of photoacoustic imaging, optical coherence tomography, and elastography technologies, as well as their application in clinical disease diagnosis. In recent years, Dr. Yang has published over ten academic papers in high-impact SCI journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, Optics Letters, IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, and Biomedical Optics Express. She has been granted three national invention patents. Dr. Yang has led several projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China’s Youth Science Fund project and the Postdoctoral Science Foundation general project. As a key member, she has participated in various projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China’s general project, international (regional) cooperation and exchange project, Ministry of Education's National Key R&D Program, Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, Shenzhen Technology Innovation Project, Shenzhen-Hong Kong Joint Project, and the major technical challenge Kunpeng team project under Shenzhen's Science and Technology Innovation initiative.
