Research Interest
1. Efficient biomarker enrichment with high resolution
We seek to develop magnetic nanomaterials with innovative surface modification and binding strategy, to achieve highly efficient biomarker enrichment for large volume clinical & environmental samples.
2. Multiplexed biomarker analysis with high sensitivity
We seek to develop fluorescence enhancing materials and strategies to achieve amplification free, multiplexed biomarker analysis with high sensitivity, and solve related clinical issues including detection of multiple viruses and mutations, various autoimmune markers, panel of cancer markers, etc.
3. Direct visualization of assays for rapid field detection
With novel fluorescent materials and methods, we seek to achieve equipment free detection of multiple biomarkers, to facilitate point-of-care diagnostics of diseases.
