ZHANG Chong

Dr. Chong Zhang is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). He was awarded the Shenzhen Overseas High-Level Talent Peacock Program Award in 2021. His primary research focuses on high-performance medical dressings. Dr. Zhang received his Bachelor's degree from Anhui University of Technology in 2010, and his Ph.D. in Science from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2016. From 2016 to 2020, he conducted postdoctoral research at Peking University, the Institute for Basic Science in South Korea, and the University of Tokyo. He joined SUSTech in 2021. In recent years, Dr. Zhang has led four national and local research projects, published over 20 SCI papers in journals such as Adv.  Mater.,Adv. Funct. Mater., Bioact. Mater., Biomaterials, and has been granted three invention patents.
