SELF-INTRODUCTION:
Dr Cao is an associate professor at Southern University of Science and Technology, School of Medicine. He received his B.S. degree and PhD degree from East China University of Science and Technology and Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, respectively. He then did his postdoc training at The Scripps Research Institute and Johns Hopkins University. He has published 18 papers, including Cell, Cancer Cell, Cell Host & Microbe, Nature Communications, Nature Protocols, Science Translational Medicine, Cell Reports. Among, 9 papers are first-author publications, including Cell (1 paper), Nature Communications (3 papers), and Nature Protocols (1 paper). He joins Southern University of Science and Technology, School of Medicine, as an independent PI from August 2022.
